Rachel seems upset at the fact that she isn't herself anymore and truly stopped caring for herself. It seems as if alcohol is the only way to reach happiness. motivation is out of the picture and going through the motions is her new motto. Even Tho Rachel drugs herself in a problematic lifestyle she is well aware of the decisions she has to take in order to bring herself back to place. Rachel seems to want a family of her own and since she cant obtain that in the real world she uses her imagination to create one. The way Rachel responds to adversity is by drinking her problems away, but the way she solves them is by talking to herself for confirmation. Anna in the other hand will do anything in her favor to keep Rachel away from her family, all she wants to do is move away and live in better conditions. Anna realizes that Rachel is a toxic person who just tries to manipulate her husband.
Rachel has set up a bad reputation fro herself and deep down she knows who she really is but cannot seem to change the peoples perspective. Rachel tries to make things right but somehow always end up bad, for example when she reaches out Megan's husband to notify him about what the things she witnessed right before she went missing but just made things even worse by lying to him and twisting the story.
